Drop a generative-AI tool on top of a broken process and you do not get a fixed process. You get a faster broken process. Drop the same tool on top of a customer-data estate that is incomplete and ungoverned, and you do not get better personalisation. You get inconsistency at scale. Drop it on top of a team that does not understand the model's limits, and you do not get better decisions. You get confident wrong answers, delivered more quickly.

This is the central insight that organisations adopting AI well have already accepted. AI does not fix weaknesses. It scales them.
